Another Pioneer Days in Guymon has come and gone, with all the usual events: a parade (headed by the Queen and Marshall), a carnival, a mercantile, dances, a Rotary BBQ, a Pioneer Bash, an “old-timers” breakfast, a 5K run and walk, a golf tournament, many gatherings of friends and families, and of course “Oklahoma’s Richest Rodeo” – the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo.  Attached is a picture of me and my oldest son at last year’s rodeo (the heat and wind on Sunday made it tough to get a good pic of the little guys this year).  Below are the rodeo results from this weekend (2014), as reported by the Guymon Chamber of Commerce:
