It’s a pleasure being part of the Guymon Ambassadors, a group that works to promote business and quality of life in the area. The Ambassadors have been busy lately, and below are a couple of updates and pics. (I did not do a great job of getting pictures at these events; if you have more, send them, and I will add them.)

OPSU Athletes

Last Saturday, the Guymon Ambassadors helped feed Oklahoma Panhandle State University athletes. These athletes have just returned for fall sports. A group of OPSU boosters and groups in the community work with the athletic department to supply food when the cafeteria is not available.

It was a lot of fun to visit with the athletes and learn about them, their sports, and the upcoming seasons.

A great fall activity for those looking for something to do would be to get out and catch some of their games. Click here for more information.

2021 Texas County Fair & Carnival

Last night the Guymon Ambassadors cut the ribbon to officially kick off the 2021 Texas County Fair & Carnival. Attached is picture of a local student singing the National Anthem as part of those festivities. The singer is flanked by the American and Oklahoma flags, posted by local boy scouts.

My kids always enjoy entering items in the fair and participating in activities during the week.

A great activity for those looking for something to do is to to visit the Texas County Fair & Carnival this weekend. Click here for more information.
