Leadership Oklahoma Visits Guymon

Guymon welcomed the 2019 Leadership Oklahoma class recently.

As a Guymon Ambassador, I was part of a reception and dinner for the class put on by the Guymon Chamber of Commerce. It is always a great event and lots of fun to meet new folks from all over the state.

That night the group toured the unique Draper Headquarters, was entertained by the Alma Folklorica dancers, and had some down home local food. A couple of pictures are attached.

While Leadership Oklahoma is in the area, the class is able to tour various farms, businesses, and sites throughout the Oklahoma Panhandle.

Guymon is one of a handful of places Leadership Oklahoma visits during the class year.

It is a good thing for Guymon to host this class of people from all over the state, and for them in turn to see this part of Oklahoma. Thanks to everyone involved who makes it happen.
