I had a great time presenting yesterday at National Business Institute’s (NBI) “Estate Administration From Start to Finish” continuing education seminar in Oklahoma City.  Thank you to NBI for putting on the conference.  And thank you to everyone who attended or was involved.

The title of my sessions were formally: Commencement of Proceedings and Information Gathering; and Initial Steps to the Estate Administration Process.  I tried to center my material around two big themes: 1) How to determine if an estate is necessary; and 2) How to begin the proper type of estate.

One of the best parts about participating in events like these is the people.  You get to catch up a bit with folks you already know and meet some new faces along the way.  My sessions had some really good questions, comments, and group participation.

I hope if was helpful.  If you were there and have any questions, feedback, or comments, I would love to hear from you.  I enjoyed speaking with several people before and after sessions and during breaks.  (In particular feel free to contact me this time since I was unable to stay for all the sessions and had to be back for some T-Ball games last night – and was therefore unable to interact later in the day.)
